Yes, it is a polar bear. Standing on a diminishing iceberg tip.  Splashed with the sunset colours of the north, this drum though colorful  also makes a statement.

The skin has been painted as it spoke: the skin shrunk, the lacing holes surfacing on the drum itself. And, it has a bit of a friendly warp, but sounds powerful, as powerful as the dance of the bear. And as powerful as its message.  One of a kind.  12” deer/maple frame. Includes beater.
