I am mindful of the Light you cast,
Lovingly, beholding of my dreams,
Both shattered and realized.
I am mindful of the Time you set,
Lovingly, beholding of my dreams,
Coloured and shadowed
As day passes into night, passes into day.
I am mindful of the Abundance you grace,
Lovingly beholding of my dreams,
As thieves set out to destroy me,
And angels gather to help me reap.
I am mindful of the Peace you generate,
Lovingly beholding of my dreams,
As I rest,
While encompassing the breath of silence,
And your whisper of Stillness,
With promises broken and kept.
I am mindful of the Love you forgive,
Lovingly beholding of my dreams,
As the sun rises, and the sun sets,
As the moon shines, or plunders into darkness,
As the stars dervish with midnight madness,
And the dew chills the barefoot seeker
Upon the early horizon of the dawn.
I am mindful of the Joy you beseech,
Lovingly beholding of my dreams,
As faith is reckoned.
As the wind swirls, the fire burns
And earth beckons, and water churns,
I am mindful of You,
Lovingly beholding me,
And my dreams.
